Advisors play a vital role in the student journey at Navarro College. Advisors work closely with students to provide adequate guidance through the development of educational plans, explanation of program requirements, selection of appropriate courses, and planning career goals. Through the use of a career assessment instrument, advisors evaluate and explore suitable program and career options with students.

Additionally, advisors assist with transfer options to four-year institutions, study skills, referral to necessary resources, and regular check-ins to help students stay on track with their academic and career goals.
