Grades and Values
Final grades are reported for each student for every course undertaken according to the following grading system:
GRADE | Grade Score | INTERPRETATION | GRADE POINT VALUE |
A | 90 - 100 | Excellent | 4 Points |
B | 80 - 89 | Good | 3 Points |
C | 70 - 79 | Average | 2 Points |
D | 60 - 69 | Poor | 1 Point |
CR | - | Equivalent | Not Computed |
F | Below 60 | Failing | 0 points |
I | - | Incomplete | Not Computed |
W | - | Withdrawn | Not Computed |
P/SA/SB/SC | - | Pass/Satisfactory | Not computed |
To receive credit for a course, a student must earn a semester grade of not less than “D” or “CR.”
Grading criteria for certain programs, including those in the health professions, may differ. Grading criteria for such courses or programs may be located in the course syllabus and/or program handbook.
