16 clinical hours a week for eight weeks (8 external hours). Clinical experience focuses on direct client nursing care in selected long-term care and acute-care facilities. The student will be expected to apply foundations of nursing practice, theory, concepts and skills, demonstrate legal and ethical behavior, safety practices, interpersonal and teamwork skills, and utilize appropriate communication with clients, families, staff, and peers.
