Advising and Academic Planning
Navarro College has a dedicated staff of College and Career Success Coaches (CCSC) and Advisors who assist students in making informed educational and career decisions. They help students select courses, understand degree and transfer requirements, and strengthen the academic skills needed for success.
CCSCs and Advisors also provide career exploration support and guidance to help students clarify their goals and align their academic plans with their long-term aspirations. When appropriate, CCSCs/Advisors direct students to campus and community resources that support academic achievement, personal development, financial aid guidance, tutoring, counseling, and other student success services.
For students intending to pursue a four-year program, CCSCs and Advisors assist with accessing online catalogs and transfer information from colleges and universities of interest. Navarro College offers a comprehensive program of career guidance designed to support students in selecting appropriate educational pathways and career direction
For more information about Academic Advising, please email the Success Coach.
