Career and Transfer Services
Career and Tranfer Services, through the Bulldog Life department, is responsible for providing comprehensive career services that include career exploration as well as job preparation and placement services for students. Student assistance includes programming and service related to job search assistance for both career and current employment and through job fairs, internships, life skills coaching, seminars, and guidance for appropriate presentation and apparel for interviews.
Transfer services includes student assistance with researching universities to transfer to by offering college tours, transfer workshops, individual transfer coaching and transfer fairs. The Bulldog Life department is located on the first floor of the Richard M. Sanchez Library on the Corsicana Campus
The Carl D. Perkins - CTE Success Center provides services to students enrolled in CTE programs at Navarro College. This includes students who are working towards an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree and/or a Certificate. These programs equip students with the academic and technical skills needed to enter the workforce. CTE prepares students for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, and high-demand careers. The Career Center also provides advising for students who are undeclared majors and those who want additional guidance in their specific career field.
Navarro College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate and baccalaureate degrees. Navarro
College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree
